Littlefoot was born in 2015 from the love of two locals for their neighbourhood and community. At the time there were few places in Footscray to go after dark so… “if we make a bar, we’ll never need to leave the hood!”
The dream was to create a gorgeous venue that would be a safe haven for all – inclusive, welcoming, friendly, respectful, and FUN. A place where the community could connect and make memories together. Now more than a decade on, we’re so proud of what we’ve created and grateful to everyone who’s been on the journey with us.
Littlefoot means Little Footscray.
We pay our deep respect to the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation and acknowledge that we are on their unceded, traditional lands.

Our Food & Drinks
Our food is created by our excellent chef and inspired by the Italian heritage of Footscray (and our building) and the love and respect for cultural fusion that Littlefoot embodies.
There’s a range of smaller plates which are great for snacking or sharing, as well as more substantial dishes perfect for dining. Our kitchen is open every day of service until 9.30pm, and dinner bookings are welcome.
We love our cocktails and make everything by hand. There’s a small but excellent wine list, many beer options (mainly craft) in bottles and on 6 taps, and a large and diverse range of quality spirits.
Non-alcoholic drinking is supported with a variety of options available.
We aim to reduce our environmental footprint by being smart with our menu to reduce waste, and by buying locally as much as possible.
Accessibility
The front bar (high seating) and lounge (low seating) are fully accessible by the front door.
The first set of toilets (down a corridor from the lounge) are all-gender and include a fully accessible toilet plus an ambulant toilet. The second set of toilets (near the courtyard) are all-gender but not ambulant or wheelchair accessible.
The courtyard is accessed via a corridor with a fixed ramp at the end, then another corridor with a step down at the end – however we also have a portable ramp which can easily be put in place here. A gate leads from the courtyard into the beer garden and car park. The beer garden can also be accessed via the car park at the rear of the premises.
Lighting is mostly low level throughout and there’s no strobe lights but we do have flashing disco lights in the front bar when DJs are on (usually after 9pm).
Sound levels are generally at low to medium levels except in the front bar after 9.30pm when DJs are playing louder for dancing – but not so loud you have to yell to be heard.
Community Wellbeing
Community is everything to us.
We support our staff and patrons to ensure no-one is harassed or discriminated against because of their gender ID, sexuality, ethnicity, ability or religion.
Everyone who walks through the door has a right to peaceably enjoy the space, and intimidating or antisocial behaviour is never ok. If you ever do feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please let any of the staff know and we will help you. Our management team are Stuart, Devon and Callum FOH and chef Sergio in the kitchen.
The only discrimination we practise is against a**hole behaviour. Doesn’t matter who you are, if you’re aggressive or bigoted this is not your place.
OUTDOOR SMOKING AREAS
Smoking is permitted on the front footpath area (no footpath dining), and in the designated area of the beer garden at all times. The courtyard and the beer garden marquee area become smoking only after the kitchen closes at 9.30pm.
