With several different areas across the premises we can host your special event or function and make sure you’re well looked after, while still having space to make our regulars welcome in the venue.
Our talented chef has developed a delicious functions menu with options for every palette and budget, and drinks packages are also available.
A minimum spend may be required on Friday and Saturday nights, but there’s no minimum spend for Wed/Thurs/Sun bookings.
Lounge Area
Our lounge with the iconic Footscray neon sign, is a lush space with rich textures and colours, and a mix of booths and low seating. The space and tables can be reserved for you, but it’s not completely private in that other people still need to walk through. It’s very popular for function bookings for its beauty, and direct proximity to the front bar and dance floor.
CAPACITY: 35 seated at tables, or up to approx 50 standing and sitting.
NOTE: The lounge is also great for large group meetings as we can put tables together for approx 16 pax seated, with no minimum spend between 4-6pm weekdays.
Enclosed Courtyard
Our gorgeous courtyard is fenced and fully roofed, with some heating. The space has mixed high and low seating. It’s comfortable and visually striking, with a bright colour palette, plants, murals and fairy lights. This space is at the end of a corridor and has high fences, so it can be completely private for you.
CAPACITY: 30 seated at tables, or up to approx 40 standing and sitting.
Beer Garden
Our large outdoor beer garden is a fantastic event space and sits just outside our back roller door (next to the courtyard). The whole area is 12x6m and has open space with umbrellas plus a 6x6m marquee and shipping container at the end. The container opens on one side and has tables and chairs but can also be used as a stage. The main bar is accessed via a short walk down the hall – an exclusive bottle bar can also be made available (depending on event budget).
CAPACITY: 50 seated at tables, or up to approx 80 standing and sitting.
Small groups
In the window of the front bar is a fabulous nook with a large round table – perfect for groups of up to 10 people; for casual catchups or afternoon meetings, book club gatherings or brainstorming sessions. There’s no minimum spend and you can instant book via our bookings page.
The lounge, courtyard and beer garden all have flexible furniture layouts and we can subtract or add seating as required, to perfectly suit your event size or type.
Evening function bookings are until 11pm when the space becomes open to all – but you don’t have to move on and we hope you stick around and continue the festivities!
